We are happy to announce the dates for our upcoming SL umpire training courses. Members that are new to umpiring should attend one of the basic courses to get a good understanding on umpiring in general and what being an umpire requires. All current and new umpires should also attend the intermediate/refresher class. More refresher classes will be added as needed as only umpires who attend the refresher course will be an approved SL umpire which will receive the new rate of €40 per game.
Here are the dates:
Beginner Course
- Sunday 12th February @ 11am in ALSAA ~or~
- Saturday 18th of February @ 11am in ALSAA
Intermediate Course and Practical
- Saturday 4th of March @ 11am in ALSAA
- Saturday 8th of April @ ALSAA for game practical during the Brian Walshe Start of Season Blitz
Reserve your spot by emailing info@softballleinster.ie and all umpires to attend and complete the intermediate course will receive a SL Umpire Blue Jersey.
