Re: positive COVID test result on Sunday from a player in the Prem League .
We are continuing to liaise with SI in relation to this and we believe they will be making a further announcement shortly.
We understand clubs may have concerns and questions.
What we do know is that a player tested positive for covid on Sunday that played softball last Tuesday.
There has been subsequent potential cross over since the Tuesday game both in the Wednesday League games and the Summer Series on Saturday.
As per the SI Return To Play Protocol the leagues are suspended for two weeks and the teams possibly connected to the positive case have been asked not to train.
We would ask that teams advise their players to apply appropriate personal responsibility in line with current HSE guidelines.
