Congratulations to the Castleknock Bearcats, 2026 winners of the Premier Division! A historic first win of this division for the club.
The final league table for the season can be found here. The Bearcats and this year’s new Prem division team, the Dublin Donkeys, are tied on points but the Bearcats prevailed against the Donkeys in the games played against each other and so take the top spot.
As the top team of the Softball Leinster league, the Castleknock Bearcats will represent Leinster in the Softball Ireland National Club Championship (SINCC), to be held Saturday 19 September in ALSAA. The winner of this national championship between the top teams of Leinster, Ulster and Connacht Munster earns the right to represent Ireland at the European Softball Federation Slowpitch Club Championships.
