The Dodder Dynamoes are one of the oldest softball clubs in Ireland. Established in 1982 by a bunch of pot-smoking, rock n roll lovin’ hippies whose entire stock of equipment consisted of one wooden bat, a couple of second-hand mitts and some home-knitted jumpers for jerseys. These days we like to think we’re a bit more professional! We’ve won a bunch of trophies over the years including multiple league titles, cups, IOSTs, SINCCs and even a European Club Championship. We’re based in Terenure, South Dublin. We now have two teams in the club and are always looking to grow and build on our success. We put a big focus on training and player development and are always happy to welcome new players of any age or ability.
As current national champions we’re looking forward to competing in this year’s European Club Championships in Berlin.
