Softball Leinster delighted to see the lifting of all restrictions and looking forward to a full season.
Softball Leinster wishes all of it’s members a Happy and safe New Year, and the very best for 2022. There’s a great season ahead and hopefully growth in the leagues. We’ve more floodlight games planned, and some coaching clinics before the season starts. We will also be bringing out a regular newsletter from January. At the recent SL AGM, the following board was elected. Peter Murnaghan returns as Chair. Alan O’Rafferty remains as SL Secretary. Heather Foust was elected as Treasurer. Niall Byrne elected and returns as an ordinary committee member. Brian Connelly elected and returns as an ordinary committee member. Gillian Cinnamon was elected as an ordinary committee member. The Development Plan will be the key policy document that sets out the overall strategy for the sustainable development and growth of Slow Pitch Softball in Ireland for the period 2022-2026 and beyond. With great sadness, we announce that our friend Massimo Lepri passed away in the care of his family after a long illness. Former treasurer of SL, umpire, and co-founder of the Wicklow Wolves.
