Kegs

The genesis of the Kegs dates back to a 21st birthday in 1990, where a game of softball was played in Cahir with a Wavin pipe and a tennis ball. These days, the Kegs are much more put together and have ASA approved bats and .52 COR balls but the fundamental tenet of having fun with a group of like minded individuals remains. Playing in the Premier Division, the Kegs play hard and socialise in Slattery’s Pub even harder. With Seattleite Drew “The Real” McCoy at the helm for 2025, the Kegs look forward to ushering in a new era of competitive, recreational, slow-pitch co-ed Irish softball in Dublin 4.
